El Alto - Readers Reviews
“In a different tone to her previous books, Suzie brings a poignant and gripping tale of love, danger and jungle warfare into this tale of young lovers caught up in the revolutionary problems of 1980’s Peru.
With Suzie Hindmarsh-Knights’ famously descriptive and captivating writing style, this is a book you will want to set aside time to read. Her insight into the political unrest and the compelling forces surrounding the characters make this a mesmerizing novel – AT – January 2021”
“Sometimes, all you want is someone to tell you a really good story, and El Alto is it.
Suzie’s latest story is expertly crafted and compelling, with a fast-paced storyline and colourful, believable characters. There are fascinating glimpses into the world of jungle-based terrorism, horseracing and life in the Adelaide Hills.
I am certain that you will devour this story like I did – KS – January 2021”
