About me
Suzie Hindmarsh-Knights was born and raised in the UK and moved to Australia at seventeen to work on a racehorse property in the Victorian highlands.
Suzie has travelled extensively throughout the Australian Outback and Overseas, covering six of the seven continents. Her journeys inspire her books, and the pages are full of the wonders of travel.
She became interested in writing while living in Hong Kong during the early 1990s, working on club newsletters and attending creative writing courses. On returning home to Australia, she began authoring short stories, which led to novels.
Her adventures in the horse racing industry inspired her first three book Racing series, set in Australia and the Outback.
Followed by the two-part El Alto series, set in Peru, Australia, and USA.
The eight-part West Series is a family saga, taking us on a journey, from British Columbia through to Colorado, UK, Coober Pedy (South Australia), Paris, and Hong Kong.
Currently writing a new series set in Broome (West Australia), and a paranormal story set in the Faroe Islands.
Suzie resides in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, South Australia, with her husband and two Bearded Collies, Kuura and Rupert.
Suzie pens a quarterly newsletter about her writing, and travels available in the Blog section.
